Last year, the Macedonian Festival at St. Mary’s Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral in Reynoldsburg, Ohio brought together friends, families, and visitors for a weekend filled with the sights, sounds, and flavors of Macedonia.
From the moment guests arrived, there was something happening all around the festival grounds. The aroma of traditional Macedonian food filled the air, music set the atmosphere, and the sounds of folk dancing brought the community together.
Saint Mary Macedonian Orthodox Church has long served as a home for the Macedonian Orthodox community in Central Ohio, and the annual festival is one of the cathedral's biggest opportunities to share that heritage with the wider community.
🍴 A Weekend of Macedonian Flavors
One of the biggest highlights of the festival was, of course, the food!
Guests had the opportunity to experience traditional Macedonian dishes, delicious pastries, and plenty of food made with the recipes and traditions passed down through generations.
For many visitors, the food is what brings them back year after year—but the memories made around the tables Music, Dancing wasn't just about food. Traditional culture to life are what make the festival special.
